Paternity testing while pregnant, should you want to do one for whatever reasons, can now be non-invasive. This is a huge development because previously, paternity testing during pregnancy involves taking amniotic fluids from the womb. I’m currently shopping for a new phone and I’m thinking of moving up from normal cell phones to smart phones. Preferrably smart phones running Android Gingerbread OS. I’ve been using samsung cell phones for as long as I can remember so naturally I’m inclined to remain a Samsung user. My sights are set on the new Samsung Galaxy S II eventhough it is slightly out of my budget. A Galaxy S II will set me back enough money to cover the cost of ten years’ worth of handphones I’ve used in the past. Therefore, I’m hunting for the best package deals around to see which carrier offers the Galaxy S II the cheapest.

My long time friend Ling whom I saw today, after 2 years, was a pleasant surprise. I remember 2 or 3 years ago I recommend she try diet and weight loss supplements to complement her cardio workouts. The things our UMNO government do can be so stupid, it’s unbelievable. I’m talking about Bersih 2.0 and how UMNO expect to talk their way out of it. Bersih 2.0 rally saw the police, under UMNO’s instruction, violently go against the peaceful demonstrators. Tons of reporting, photos and videos tell and show us what transpired on that day.
In the past two days, we witness how clumsy UMNO tried to justify their actions. But it boggles my mind how far they can go to try to clean up their mess. They are telling lies one after another to cover up the truth and expect us to buy their distorted stories. Denying every blatant fact. Blaming everyone else but themselves.
Take for instance, firing tear gas canisters into Tung Shin Hospital compound. Health minister Liow Tiong Lai deny it happened. But of course everyone know it happened because citizen reporting has already published photos and videos to highlight this matter. Hospital grounds are protected under international humanitarian laws and by firing tear gas into the compound, our police have committed a war crime. UMNO is currently still denying the police did so.
Firing of tear gas into Tung Shin Hospital is just one of the many incidents UMNO is trying to deny. But that is impossible because alternative media is full of photos and video to proof otherwise. Just what does UMNO expect to get out of all these denials? A 5 minute search on Google can lead you to eye-witness accounts, photos and videos to proof UMNO is lying.

There are only two things Clarisse love about school now. Dismissal and
school playground equipment. Gone are the days when she’d be smiling all the way to school. She doesn’t look forward to learning ABC’s and 123′s now that teaching is in full swing. Even worst, her Mandarin teacher told me she’s doing quite badly in learning chinese. It’s hard to wake her up in the mornings. We have to put up with her crankiness and she’d be pouting all the way to school. Luckily, she finds singing and being in company with her friends pleasurable. Or else she would be crying to school every day.

After years of gathering dust in the tool shed, my husband have finally got the old lawnmover fixed and ready for use. The old honda lawnmower has been left unused for years because he’s lazy to mow the garden. But due to certain circumstances, we are forced to mow the lawn ourselves. Some neighbour issues I’m reluctant to dwell upon. Anywayz, I was expecting a big repair bill but turned out, it needs only an oil change and greasing up certain motor parts. Overall the condition of the motor is excellent.

The past two days has been really tough. I woke up on Monday with a sorethroat and by evening, it got so bad that I think it’s the worst sorethroat I’ve ever had in my life. At this stage, no amount of gargling with salt water, drinking honey lime water or Strepsil will do any good. Those stuff may help sooth my throat a bit but the only thing left now is to wait for it recover.
Baby Edward has become very attached to me lately. He’d come running to me every 5 or 10 minutes and wants me to carry him. Crying non stop until I do so. It drives me nuts when I’m busy with chores or while I’m cooking. Or when I need to go to the bathroom. I try to do as much house chores and cook when Clarisse and baby Edward take their afternoon nap.
On weekdays, my day starts at 7am and ends about 1.30pm at night. Apart from taking care of the kids, chores and cooking, there’s barely any time left for myself. And being sick just makes the days much worst to bear.
