My dad bought a hugely discounted pair of Energy bookshelf speakers today. It is a demo set of speakers in his friend’s audiophile shop. His friend made him an offer he can’t refuse. 70% discount! He’ll be shopping for an amplifier, cables and a sub-woofer tomorrow for his 2.1 speaker setup. I’m trying to persuade him to go for full 5.1 home theater speaker setup. Both Energy as front speakers. Get two more satellite speakers for the rear. And of course, a BluRay player for some high def movie experience.

Excessive Xanax use and subsequent Xanax addiction is one of the worst kind of substance addiction you can possibly encounter. Simply because it is an extremely addictive drug which leads to horrible withdrawal symptoms. Serious Xanax addicts are advised to seek professional help from drug rehabs or xanax detox centres should they wish to wean and stay drug-free. It is not advisable to try to do it yourself because Xanax withdrawal symptoms can be very bad.

My weekly round of grocery shopping at Tesco these days are a lot quicker and a lot more pleasant. I no longer tow two naughty and hyperactive kids while I shop. They are now my husband’s responsibility at the toys aisle.
Edward used to be very clingy. Everywhere he goes, I have to be near. He’d make sure I’m by his side wherever he goes. So he has to be in the trolley when I shop. Trouble was, he can’t sit still for more than 10 minutes. Not even toys or books can keep him occupied long enough for me to shop comfortably.
But now Clarisse and Edward shoot off to the toys and book section the minute we walk into Tesco. Edward no longer require my company and is perfectly fine as long as there are toys and books to keep him occupied. Daddy keeps an eye on them while I take care of my shopping list. If I rush, I could finish my shopping in 15 mins. That won’t be possible with two trouble making kids in tow.

Foul Mouth Shirts is the one-stop resource for foul and funny shirts. Be prepared to offend people. That’s about the only warning if you dare to walk out in public with some of the foulest and meanest t-shirts. People will stare and read. It may draw a smile or a knife, you’d never know what’s coming at you. Foul Mouth Shirts do make a pretty damn strong statement. Not for the faint of heart. Some of my favourites are the Facebook themed t-shirts. Downright mean but funny altogether. Check them out.

Running, both outdoors and indoors on a treadmill, has kept my weight in check since I started exercising to lose weight after giving birth to my second child. But it wasn’t enough to shed the pounds I gained during pregnancy. Dieting and exercising wasn’t enough to be precise. It took some of the best weight loss pills to help me lose it. I didn’t just pop by a drug store and grab the best selling weight loss pills. I actually consulted a professional nutritionist who planned an entire weight loss program to suit me. Most people need help with weight loss supplements to lose weight but not many tell you about it.

Leong Sin Nam street in Ipoh is well known for it’s dim sum outlets, enjoying a steady flow of dim sum crowd. During festive holidays, you won’t believe the massive crowd. My parents and sisters went there at 7am today and all the dim sum outlets were already full, with long queues of crowd waiting for tables. Cars jammed up the entire street they had to park two blocks away. So they gave up on the more popular dim sum outlets along Leong Sin Nam road and looked around for other dim sum shops closeby. I have heard due to their immense popularity and crowd, there is a drop in food quality in some popular dim sum shops. And the service is terrible, especially during the holidays.

My laser printer which I bought 3 months ago was out of toner today. It took me by surprise because I didn’t do much printing. I was told a laser printer’s toner cartridges are good for more than 700 pages. Much more if I print with ink saving features enabled. I have barely printed more than 200 pages and it ran dry. So I went back to the retailer and was told new laser printers does not come with a full toner cartridge. New laser printers usually come with a starter toner cartridge. It’s the norm so I was told. I came home with a new toner cartridge, reluctantly. Didn’t expect to fork out money for a new toner cartridge so soon.

My cousin who resides in the US has finally replaced her conventional heater with an infrared one. Infrared heaters are efficient and heats the room just as well as conventional heaters. The one thing that makes infrared heaters stand out is the cost-savings. Her electrical bill is off the roof come winter months. But with an infrared heaters, her electrical bill is significantly reduced. If only there’s an alternative technology to air-conditioners for our tropical heat that offers reasonable savings in our bills.

The geographic changes made Table Rock Lake, and the nearby towns, a tourist spot. Commercial marinas and fishing spots are popular attractions. Table Rock real estate develops lake side properties around Branson that offers beautiful panoramic views of the lake. Development of business and residential areas around Table Rock Lake has risen much in the past five decades. My mom has finally bought a mono laser printer. After years of using InkJet printers and going through plenty printers ink cartridges, she decided to move up to a laser printer. Blank and white laser printers are very cheap nowadays if you don’t print in colour. And the print quality is sharper than inkjet. Faster and less hassles too. Her old inkjet printer is still in fine working condition. She uses it for colour print outs. For black and white documents, the laser printer deliver excellent printouts.
