According to my friend, Nuphedra was one of the better weight loss products in the market. It was introduced to me last year but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve read up on nuphedra reviews and some said it was difficult to find. I agree. I searched for it last month but pharmacies don’t have it. So I gave up trying to look for it. Clarisse surprises me sometimes with her memory and observation. Last week we went to my mom’s house for lunch. After lunch, I took a bath and changed into my sister’s pair of bermuda short for comfort. It is very colourful with a mix of odd messy shapes, patterns and colours.
Then its time to tuck Clarisse in for her afternoon nap. All of a sudden she pointed towards my bermuda shorts and shouted “Ku Cheh pants”! That’s what she call my sister-in-law in cantonese. It took me a while to register and figure out why she mentioned that.
Soon I realise my sister-in-law really do wear bermuda’s with similar sort of colours, pattern and design often at home. I have no idea she notices and remember such trivial stuff. Furthermore, the last time Clarisse saw her aunt was nearly two months ago. She is a full-time law degree student in KL and only comes back every 2 months or so.

When times are tough, crime prospers. Snatch thieves are everywhere. Last week, two pregnant women were reported killed as victims of snatch thieves on motorbikes. It is terrible to read such sad news on the papers on a weekly basis. Killing someone just to steal their handbags. Just for a couple hundreds of bucks and a precious life is lost.
Just last week, our neighbour’s house was broken into. No one was at home at that time so apparently no one got hurt. We had our fair share of stolen properties too. Aluminium and steel patio chairs and tables. Tennis and running shoes. Even pots and pans. Things that aren’t of any value were stolen from our compound.
Malaysia’s evil ruling regime, Barisan Nasional (BN), has instructed all national TV channels to BAN this video footage. It shows the police invading the sacred halls of assembly to drag the legitimate speaker, YB Sivakumar, out by force. Never has this happened before throughout the world. We can judge how desperate and dirty BN can be when it is forced to a corner. Is this the regime you want ruling over Malaysia? Is this the government you want your children to inherit?
The logic remains that if you do no wrong, you need not fear the world knowing. It is apparent then that BN knows very well they have abused democracy, constitution laws, justice and the people of Perak to steal power. BN will go all out to make sure they remain in power WITHOUT resorting to a state-wide election. In other words, the people of Perak is being disrespected and ignored, to put it mildly. This is not democracy.
I can’t pretend to turn a blind eye to the grave events unfolding within my backyard, Perak. There’s not much a housewife like me can do except my duty to vote. With the internet, I can do a bit more. That is to help spread this video clip in hope that many Malaysians, and people around the world, realise we’re being oppressed. Press and media freedom is dying. It’s time to vote with our conscience to rid Malaysia of evil BN. For the sake of a better future for our children.

There’s an old shop opposite our favourite prawn mee stall that makes custom rubber stamps. According to the folks around the area, they have been in the business for a very long time. Way before I was even born. The shop, especially its interior, appears to have remained in the 50′s and 60′s. The furnitures look antique and gives a very retro vibe. I think the shop owner wanted it to remain that way. He’s still doing brisk business and I’m sure he can afford to give his shop a major renovation. Instead, he chose to keep the retro look and feel which IMO makes his shop stand out among the other modern looking shops.
I have been slowly reducing weight loss supplements. Instead, I’m exercising more regularly and vigorously. I’ve also started to swim again at a club nearby twice a week. Diet wise, I’m eating much smaller portion than I use to. Supplementing more fiber into my diet and cutting carbs. I don’t intend to entirely refrain from weight loss products. Just want to take as little as possible. So far my weight is creeping down but as long as I’m not gaining weight, I’m happy with that. After all, eating wisely and exercising is about healthy living.

BN’s Perak coup d’etat has taken a turn for the worst. From 2 Mentri Besar confusion, we now have 2 Assembly Speakers claiming legitimacy over another.
The only person with the power to easily solve Perak’s dilemma hid behind the assembly halls for 6 hours. Raja Nazrin Shah, Sultan Azlan Shah’s son, only came out to give a useless speech when BN instructed policemen to forcefully and disgracefully drag Perak State Speaker Sivakumar away.
The entire Perak royal family has lost all credibility two months ago. Just when I though they couldn’t sink any lower, they proved me wrong today.
I wore black today. In fact, any color will do … as long as its NOT bloody YELLOW! The color of royalty will not clad my body today.
What’s the point of having a Sultan when he, with his almighty power, couldn’t even think straight and protect democracy.
Do you watch House? I’ve been following the series pretty religiously since Season three. The latest episode is a milestone. One that many fans have been waiting for. House and Cuddy finally have sex. The episode started off with a ballet dancer succumbing to breathing problems. One diagnosis led to another, she even had her heart beat stopped to allow scanning. After 3 minutes, brought her back to life by an AED shocking her heart into beating again. House on the other hand deals with hallucinations caused by his drug addiction. Fearing he might lose his rational and sane mind, he sought Cuddy’s help to help him survive his withdrawal symptoms. Cuddy stay with him all the way. This week’s episode is going to change everything.
