A motorhome, aka recreational vehicles (RVs), is about the size of a big van or a small bus decked with creature comforts and ammenities for living on the go. These travel and vacation vehicles are popular abroad, but less so here. Imagine my surprise when I saw a big one parked at the field opposite my house today. I guess some people like something out of the ordinary coz it is really rare to see an RV here. Probably because they are expensive and rv repair and maintenance require deep pockets. Not many people could afford such luxuries.

I’m tempted to upgrade my health insurance plan to cover more prescription drugs cost. One of my cousins in the US decided to upgrade to one of the Medicare part D plans that covers nearly all drugs on the formulary. My husband called to inform me about a special parcel delivery this morning from my aunt in Singapore. It’s a birthday gift and I was surprised to receive it so early. This is Clarisse’s fourth month into kindergarten. She has adjusted to waking up early. She used to get so exhausted after school, she’d willingly take afternoon naps. But not now. She isn’t as exhausted as she used to be after school and we have to force her to nap.
As for us, one look at our faces and you’ll know we are tired as hell. I’m struggling to get rid of dark circles, due to lack of sleep. Baby Edward often wakes up during the night and makes it worst. Most days, I don’t get the luxury of taking an afternoon nap. In fact, I can’t even recall when I last took a nap during the day. The kids and chores are really overwhelming. By night time, usually around 1.30am to 2am, I doze off as fast as flicking a power switch. And it’s so struggling to wake up at 6.45am.

My uncle’s new company will officially be opening it’s doors in June 2011. He’s in the business of distributing pre-fabricated furniture and construction parts. My husband will be helping out his IT staff set up inetsoft business intelligence software and the procuring the necessary hardward for his company. It will only be on a temporary basis. It’s going to be a very much two month period for him as he will have to make several trips to KL. I’ll be required to drive Clarisse to school when he’s not around. It’s very distracting when baby Edward is in the car. I hope I’ll be able to handle the distractions while driving. It’s been a long time since I drove a car.

My gym buddy, or should I say my ex-gym buddy considering I’ve quit since after conceiving Clarisse, gave me a surprise visit today after more than a year. We did lots of catching up throughout the afternoon. She related her menopausal experience which happened some time last year. Fortunately, her symptoms wasn’t bad but being a gym fanatic all these years, she’s feeling rather depressed with the sudden weight gain. Especially around her belly. She has resumed full gym activities last month. Adopted a stricter diet and nutrition plan. And she is considering using testosterone cream for women to compensate for the lower testosterone levels. A common problem for women after menopause. To be honest, I felt she is a bit too critical about her midsection and overall figure. She is fit compared to my uhm, motherly figure. And at her age, she looks hotter than many younger women.
