Baby Clarisse absolutely adore pets

Its a safe bet that my baby Clarisse will grow pestering me for a pet dog. Or pet cat for that matter. Whenever we passes by our neighbour, she would urge his dad to stop the car so that she could stare at the neighbour’s doggy for a while. Whenever we’re at the groceries and happen to pass by the pet food section, baby Clarisse would lean her head or kiss packets of pet food because there’s either a dog or cat picture on it. When we are in the car driving along the streets, she could spot and point at a dog or cat a mile away and jump about in excitement. We are left trying to find out what she’s pointing at.

Swiss Army laptop bag

How’s that for a laptop bag? I saw this Swiss Army laptop bag at the stores today. It looks simple with clean lines. The finishing is really neat and feels very durable. Just nice to house my laptop whenever I need it on the move. While I’ve heard plenty about their knifes and tools, I never knew Swiss Army has a line of bags ranging from luggage to laptop bags.

Have you used microfiber floor mops?

Has anyone tried microfiber floor mops? I’m still using plain old floor mops so I know nothing about microfiber ones. But lately, my mom-in-law has been pestering me to look for them as she’s been hearing how good those things are at attracting dust. Apparently, they absorb and hold water very well. So when you mop the floor, there won’t be streaks of water left behind. I think I’ll head over to the nearest hardware store to get hold of them this weekend. Those of you who used microfiber floor mops, are they really good?

Tatum busted for buying crack

44-year-old Tatum O’ Neal, daughter of actor Ryan O’ Neal, is caught buying crack and possession of cocaine. Trying to talk her way, she tried to convinced the cops that it’s part of a research she’s doing for a part. They cops didn’t buy it. After a police search, it was found in two bags of drugs - one with crack, one with regular cocaine - and an unused crack pipe. Tatum has had major problems with heroin and other drugs in the past but now it’s likely back to drug rehab for her. Seriously at 44 years of age, shouldn’t she be pass this fad already? Just leave it to Lohan and Winehouse.

Baby Clarisse doesn’t like grandma in nice clothes

We went to KL with my parents last friday to attend my cousin sister’s wedding dinner. Baby Clarisse, grandpa and grandma went along on this trip. With my parents, I thought I’d have an easier time with two extra pairs of helping hands to care of baby Clarisse but I was wrong.

On the morning when we depart for KL, baby Clarisse refused to sit beside my mom and dad. You see, eversince about a month ago, she has this weird little problem with family members’ clothings. Especially my mom. Whenever my mom and dad put on something nicer before going out, baby Clarisse would stare at them for a moment and refuse to go near them. She would cry when my mom or dad tries to carry her. Put on those shabby clothes again, everything returns to normal and baby Clarisse won’t get defensive anymore. I just don’t know why this is happening.

More RAM as soon as you buy a notebook PC

If there’s one advise for those who are buying a new notebook PC and expect to use it for many years to come, don’t skimp when it comes to adding RAM. Add as much RAM as possible along with your purchase. If the limit is 4GB, get 4GB of memory for a start.

My faithful IBM R50e has 768MB of type DDR1 RAM which was phased out about a year or two ago. DDR2 is commonplace now and gives the best value for money. DDR1 on the other hand, if you can find them on the market now are many times more expensive than DDR2. I regret not upgrading the memory in my notebook earlier when DDR1 is still going strong and cheap.

Former colleague came visiting

One of my former colleaque came visiting yesterday evening. I wasn’t expecting the visit, it was so out of the blue. Luckily, baby Clarisse has recovered much from fever and runny nose since Saturday. Or else, she’d be whiny and cranky, needing my attention all the time.

Don’t underestimate your baby

This evening I got a shock when I saw baby Clarisse holding a bunch of cheap pens we bought from Tesco today. I quickly grab it from her. At that moment I was so angry I shouted who put a bunch of pens on the bed. My husband quickly ran out from the bathroom and asked what is happening. I told him baby Clarisse was playing with those pen and she nearly put it in her mouth. My husband told me he never expected baby Clarisse to be able to reach out for those pen since he put it at the corner end of the bed. So far, baby Clarisse can’t crawl yet but she would try hard to get her hands on an object by rolling over or pushing her body forward with legs while lying on her back. We had underestimated her persistence to get something she wants.
