Clarisse is 3 years and 4 months old. We are starting to look for pre-school for her. Talking to friends and family for advice and suggestions. Thanks to them we’ve got plenty on our list. And most importantly, we were told which pre-school to avoid due to bad teachers, care-takers, environment, cleaniness and other sub-standard traits.
We hope to find one for Clarisse and enrol her before next year. I am fairly certain Clarisse will enjoy pre-school. Ever since she is old enough to interact, she has always liked approaching and talking to other kids. And when she understands what schooling is about, she kept wanting to go to school. She said this with a frown many times: “I am so sad. I have no friends. I want to go to school”.

Just upgraded my camera’s SD card today. From 512MB to 4GB. Now I can use my camera to shoot more video clips which is my only reason to upgrade. With my old 512MB memory card, I can shoot at most 7 mins of video. So now I can easily shoot up to an hour’s worth of video. I find myself shooting videos more than photos when it comes to my kids. My next purchase would probably be a compact camera with the ability to shoot 1080p HD video. That would be great.

Hari Raya holidays is about 3 days away. Clarisse is especially looking forward to it because her cousin brother and sister will be visiting. My sister will be coming back with the kids and probably stay for two nights. Or more hopefully.
I haven’t enrolled Clarisse into a nursery yet. She doesn’t have much opportunity to mix with kids her age. That is why she is very happy when her cousins come home for visits. The last time they came back, Clarisse face lit up before we even enter the house, when she heard their voices. She turned to me with a big smile and said “I want to go and play with che che and ko ko!”.
Well all of us are looking forward to the weekend really. All my sisters will be coming back and I’m looking forward to catch up with them. But most of all, to see Clarisse enjoying herself with her cousins around to play with her.
