Baby Edward hates the playpen

Baby Edward used to spend about 20-30 mins cooped up in the playpen willingly. But lately, the moment I place him there, he cries before his feet even touches the cushioned base. Even if he’s in very good mood, he would spend no more than 10 mins in the playpen. Even Clarisse spends more time in the playpen than him. Imagine when things around the house gets hectic, I couldn’t put him a playpen. Many times I had to carry him with one hand, and do something else with the other hand.

The high chair, on the other hand, manages to keep him quiet for a lot longer. Baby Edward would rather be tied to the high chair, sometimes for more than an hour while I tend to house chores or cook. All I need to do is to give him some toys or baby biscuits to keep him occupied and he’d willingly sit there until I’m done with errands. But of course, I carry the high chair into the kitchen when I cook to keep an eye on him.
