My uncle, who’s house I’m now renting, has agreed to install wood blinds in front of the house to shade against the hot sun rays penetrating our living room curtains. His house faces the west where the sun sets. The dry season in the past couple of months was so hot our air-con were running throughout the day and night. Our electricity bill, which nearly doubled, reminded how much we used our air-con last month. Hopefully with some blinds in front of the large living room windows, we can feel cooler.
