Barcode scanner tantrum

Clarisse drove me nuts at Tesco today. She saw daddy using the barcode scanner to scan some product prices and wanted in on the fun. We carried and put her standing inside the trolley. She scanned her block of Kit Kat repeated for a good 5 mins just to amuse herself with the audible response. Luckily no one wanted to use the device but enough is enough and insisted we move away. Clarisse burst into a huge tantrum and wouldn’t stop crying for the next 10 minutes. We quickly pick up the remaining few items on our shopping list and left. It was really embarassing when people several aisles away can hear your kid bawling.
