Stay-at-home Christmas
Every year, it seems Christmas gets duller for us. Christmas eve for us involved staying at home looking after the kids. While people are doing the countdown to Christmas, I was counting down the number of ounces of milk baby Edward is drinking
The upside is, despite Christmas feels more boring as the years pass by, we feel more and more blessed each year when we think about our children growing up healthy and well. Especially this year, conceiving baby Edward took us by surprise in March and here he is, nearing 3 months old. Quite a few things happened in 2009 and we’re happy the good ones far outnumber the unpleasant ones.
Anyway, there are many more Christmases and New Years waiting for us, god willing. It is nice to imagine when baby Edward is three and Clarisse is five, we’d all be celebrating Christmas Eve with the rest of our family somewhere fun.
Merry Christmas and may you all have a happy new year.
