Mesothelioma is a form of cancer cause by exposure to asbestos materials. There is no known cure for malignant Mesothelioma except surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. But it depends on a number of factors including the location of the disease, the stage of the disease, your age and your overall health. Although it is saddening to hear about mesothelioma suffering, it sickens us more to know that corporations manufactured and profited selling asbestos products being fully aware beforehand the health-threatening effects of asbestos. This led to numerous law-suits filed by mesothelioma patients against these irresponsible corporations. I commend these people for knowing their rights and fully utilising it against these corporations. Hopefully by doing so, we will foster a more responsible, consumer caring and healthy manufacturing practices.
