Moving into my uncle’s house
We have decided to move out in Oct and rent a house just 5 houses away from my parents’ house. Yes, it is literally a stone’s throw away or barely 30 seconds of walking between both houses.
Ever since Clarisse was born, my parents helped me to take care of her a lot. When situations arise where Clarisse can’t tag along, I leave her at my mom’s place knowing she’s in very safe hands. I can’t put into words how grateful I am she’s willing to sacrifice time and effort to care for my little brat in times of need. And I’m absolutely thrilled and even more grateful she offered to lend a helping hand in the next couple of months.
God willing, Clarisse is going to have a baby brother in 3 months. I’m due to deliver in mid October. The past few months has been tiring. Having to take care of Clarisse, a hyperactive and mischevious terrible-two kid while being pregnant is physically and emotionally draining. Most of the time, blogging is the last thing I have on my mind.
I’m so thankful my mom agreed to help me after labor, during my confinement. Just the thought of taking care of Clarisse and a newborn is scary enough, nevermind during confinement.
Now the house I’ll be moving into is actually my uncle’s house. He and his family now resides permanently in KL and this house was left vacant for years. My parents suggest we rent it so that they could help us look after the kids if necessary.

Moving nearer to your mom’s house is a good decision esp when you are about to deliver in 3 months time. Take care!
