Clarisse celebrated her 2nd birthday 3 weeks ago. This year, there was no birthday bash or party. Just a small get together with my parents and in-laws at McDonalds. We bought a really tasty butter cake for Clarisse but it was a struggle to make her sit still enough for taking photographs of her cutting the cake. The playroom is just next to us. All Clarisse wanted was to dash into the playroom again to play with the kids.

I can’t help but wonder sometimes how the last two years went by. It felt like a blink of an eye in hindsight but at times, it felt like forever. It had been an incredible and wonderful experience watching her grow from an infant to a two-year-old mischevious toddler she is now.
