There’s an old shop opposite our favourite prawn mee stall that makes custom rubber stamps. According to the folks around the area, they have been in the business for a very long time. Way before I was even born. The shop, especially its interior, appears to have remained in the 50′s and 60′s. The furnitures look antique and gives a very retro vibe. I think the shop owner wanted it to remain that way. He’s still doing brisk business and I’m sure he can afford to give his shop a major renovation. Instead, he chose to keep the retro look and feel which IMO makes his shop stand out among the other modern looking shops.
