Little Clarisse is being very talkative these days. She is one month shy from two years old. She’d pick up phrases and stuff we say, or do, without us expecting it.

Clarisse shouts: ” Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep … ”

Clarisse to herself: ” … papa scold you! ”

This evening, we bought wan ton mee takeaway at a roadside stall. Whenever my husband hops out of the car to do something, little Clarisse would climb over to the driver’s seat. She accidently pressed her weight on the car horn. Papa gave her a stern look and the pointed finger.

Clarisse shouts: ” Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr … choooo ”

Clarisse: ” … bad cold. ”

Me: “Who has bad cold?”

Clarisse: “Pooh bear … Tigger …”
