Despite all our efforts to make our home baby-proof, or more like expensive-fragile-stuff-proof if you ask me, there are bound to some areas we took for granted. This time she somehow managed to get her grubby little hands on our gadget basket. The basket is placed on top of a shelf measuring about waist high level and we deliberately placed the basket away from the edges. We chuck our handphones, PDAs, car keys, wallets and loose change there.

Clarrise has proven she is now tall enough to reach the basket while standing on the tip of her toes. She grabbed, pulled the basket and all the stuff fell on the floor. Luckily none of the stuff hit her on the head or face. But they did hit the floor hard. My husband has to get his cracked handphone screen repaired tomorrow.
