Yesterday was my longest wait to see my OB. My husband and I arrived at the clinic at 1.30pm only to realise my OB had to leave the clinic to attend to an emergency labor at around 10.30am. Hence, appointment in the morning session had to be pushed back and delayed for more than two hours. My number was 31 and the queue was stuck at 10.  I knew we’re in for a longggg wait. Time passed so slowly in the clinic. I browsed through numerous magazines. Twice I went to the canteen to grab some snacks when I felt hungry. My turn finally came after five hours of waiting. At 6.30pm, I was so relieved when I heard the nurse call out my name. That’s half a day wasted at the hospital.
