It’s been nearly 3 years since I’ve played tennis in the night. My husband and I, together with a couple of our friends booked a 2-hour session from 7pm – 9pm this evening. Talk about bad luck. Half way into the tennis session, one of the flood lights blacked out. I was truely enjoying this evening’s tennis session when it happened. It was 9.15pm then, we had no choice but to keep playing under insufficient lighting. I was already struggling to adapt to the nightime lighting conditions not having played tennis in the night for 3 years. The faulty flood light made it worst. That’s why I prefer to play tennis during the day.
