How was your weekend? Mine was absolutely wonderful as all my sisters came back to Ipoh to celebrate my mother’s birthday and I took this opportunity to stay at my mom’s place for 3 nights.

They arrived on Thursday morning. I met up with them later in the afternoon after having had lunch with my in-laws to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday.

These four days passed by so quickly. Afternoons were mostly spent running errands, shopping, buying stuff and eating out. Instead of my mom cooking dinners, we dined out nearly every evening but spend most of the nights staying at home and catching up with each other until way past midnight.

Baby Clarisse loved the time she spent with her cousin sister and brother. We were amused to see her tagging them around the house, trying to get them to play with her and being so happy around them. She really enjoyed their company. Though they sometimes find her to be quite annoying and irritating, I’m glad they behaved well, treated her gently, took care of her and shared their toys.

They left for KL this afternoon. It won’t be long till our next get together during Chinese New Year barely one and a half months away but I’m already so looking forward to it.

Baby Clarisse didn’t get to say goodbye to her cousins as she was napping when they left. Perhaps its better this way because the last time they drove off, baby Clarisse couldn’t bear to see them leave and cried.
