Never grown plum trees
Our backyard is huge and throughout the years we’ve planted papaya trees, mango trees, longan trees, pomelo trees and various vegetation. We have even grown pandan and mint crops that are sold to family members who run food businesses. Oh, we have grown corn (or maize in ur country) for a stretch of time many years ago. I am wondering whether Plum trees can be grown in our humid tropical weather. You can count plums as one of my favourite fruits of all time. As most of the plums we buy here in Malaysia are imported from China or countries which are either way north of the equator, I have always assumed tropical climate doesn’t suit them plum trees. So the idea of planting plum trees never really cropped up. Oh how I wish I could grow some plum trees in my backyard.
