I’m going to my mom’s house with baby Clarisse early today. We received a notice a few days ago warning us of water disruption from 9am – 9pm today. Probably some major fixes to our constant water problems in the neighbourhood and I hope it will put an end to it. So I’ll be spending the entire day at my mom’s house.

I kid you not that the area I live in experience frequent water and electricity disruption. It’s no joke when you’re affected by these inconveniences several times a month and I’m not even exaggerating. Our neighbourhood is that bad when it comes to such utility reliability. And the funny thing is, the authorities has carried out major repair works in the past, or so I was told, but the problem persists.

Compared to my parent’s neighbourhood, its like day and night. Water and power blackouts rarely happen in their area. I wonder why? Selective treatment by the utility authorities perhaps?
