Sitting there right in the middle of our living room is a couple of cardboxes. In those boxes, there are a couple of speakers. I didn’t bother to find out what exactly they are but according to my husband, it completes his surround sound home theater system. Some rear and center speakers, woofer and some really expensive looking wires to hook them all up to the hi-fi components in our TV room. Whatever, all I know is it’s an expensive hobby these hifi stuff. Many times I’ve talked him out of buying those stuff but these are one of those rare occasions where I simply gave up convincing him otherwise. I hope he doesn’t emulate his peers where upgrading hi-fi components on a yearly basis is the norm. We simply can’t afford to indulge in such an expensive hobby. Make this a one-off investment.

We’ll be shifting our home theater seating and furniture around to accommodate the extra speakers. All of a sudden, the TV room feels a lot more cramped. Gosh, do we really need that much speakers. Five! Including them new ones. Anyone of you gals out there married to movie buffs?
