Wayfarer may be more than 5 decades old, but vintage sunglasses are the rage these days. Retro seems to be never going out of style. Thanks to smart and expensive product placements. And celebrities no less.
My sister’s family came home on the first day of Hari Raya holidays. Baby Clarisse is really enjoying being around her cousin sister and brother. She’d walk and follow them wherever they go. Something she wasn’t able to do before when her cousins came to visit a few months ago.
Today is the 2nd day of Hari Raya and it was decided yesterday that we’ll drive up Cameron Highlands just for the day. We started our trip at 9.30am, my dad and husband was in charge of driving. We drove leisurely up the hill from Simpang Pulai and it took us slightly more than an hour to reach the first tourist spot where we stopped for refreshments. 30 minutes later, we resumed our journey to Kampung Raja, just slightly more than 10 kilometres or so away.
Anyone out there has any experience with power steering rack repairs? My mom’s car was recently sent in for repairs. There seems to be some problems with the steering but I wasn’t told what it was exactly. According to the shop, the vehicle is in need of a power steering rack replacement. She was quoted a three figure repair bill inclusive of workmanship if she agrees to fix it. Clearly shocked with such an expensive repair, she left with the excuse of thinking it over. Instead she’ll be sending her car to be fixed by my husband’s regular mechanic. I hope he’ll quote her a much lower repair fee.
