Btw.. the reaction he has when consuming these foods is that it starts around his mouth and wrists. He starts forming bumps (size of peas or smaller) and redness around the area. It's very itchy as he keeps scratching it. The redness and bumps spread to his entire face and in some occassion his scalp. On several very severe cases, his eyes started swelling shut and where very red. We immediately give him childrens benedryl (if reaction is severe) or Allegra (if reaction is mild) to help with the allergies and wash his skin and apply cortison. We wait by his side to make sure his airways don't swell up. I have an epipen ready at all time. (The reason I don't like giving benedryl at all times is that it makes him sleepy)

We found out first when my son was 6mo old that he has food allergies. Now at age 2, we are more clear on his allergies.. unfortunately we found out mostly through trial and error and after he already consumed these foods. Peas is on the list of things he can't have. He is allergic to most legumes including mung beans, lentil, yellow and green split beans. He is able to eat garbanzo beans and red kidney beans. He is also allergic to string beans and peas. He does have severe allergies towards walnuts, pistacios, and peanuts but can have pinenuts and almonds.
