Four days in KL
I just came back after four days in KL as our family went there to attend my youngest sister’s University Malaya convocation last week.
Only my parents went to the event because I know firsthand how packed the university area is going to be during convocations. I had mine roughly two years ago. The place will be jammed with cars and people. True enough, as my parents relate to us after the event, they were exhausted having to walk around the university compound packed with cars and people. Its tough to walk so don’t even think you can drive around in a car. They came home around 2.30pm, showered, ate and went straight for their afternoon nap.
As for us, my husband and I went out shopping at The Curve, Ikano and Ikea for 6 hours straight. Out of which 2 hours were spent taking care of baby Clarisse’s needs. Feeding her lunch, tuck her in for an afternoon nap and later in the afternoon milk time. Feeding sessions are a real struggle as always. That’s where we wasted most of our time and energy. Shopping aren’t as fun anymore these days with a toddler around. Gotta get use to that I suppose.
The following few days, we visited relatives and friends. And more dining and shopping. Apart from that, there’s really nothing more I can think of doing in KL. Plus, the traffic and tending to baby Clarisse’s constant demands really dampens the mood.
