I first felt a lump formed in my left breast 3 weeks ago. Upon consulting a physician, I was adviced to persist on weaning baby Clarisse from breastfeeding so that I could have the lump removed for further inspection. I was told it is likely Fibrocystic and assured it is harmless. This is one of the main reason I hasten to wean baby Clarisse as soon as possible.

Bad news! It was drizzling this morning and my husband left the desktop PC running. The wireless router too was switched on to keep the internet connected while downloading some stuff. No prize for guessing what happened next.
Yes you’re right. Some equipment were fried by a freak lightning strike. His desktop CPU and our Linksys wireless router modem is down. The LCD monitor survived and perhaps some components within the desktop CPU is salvageable. He’ll give it a thorough testing tomorrow to find out about it.

My husband did a complete re-imaging of my IBM R50e notebook today while I was away at my mom’s place. My notebook runs Windows XP and it runs very smoothly. Runs like new in fact.
He has also switched anti-virus. We were running Avast! anti-virus but as of now, my resident anti-virus is NOD32 which claims to be one of the fastest. As a start, it does use much less ram than Avast!.

Baby Clarisse slept at 9pm tonight. I’m glad she didn’t put up much of a struggle tonight as I wanted to tune in to the men’s tennis Wimbledon finals between Federer and Nadal. Although I don’t play much these days, I still love to watch tennis matches especially big matches and it doesn’t get any bigger than Wimbledon finals. Unfortunately the match is delayed. Hence I’m killing time blogging now and hope the match will start soon.
Like always my husband and I will be rooting for Roger Federer. Tonight’s match is a big one for Federer as victory will go down as a record of six consecutive Wimbledon champion title. However, if I were to place a bet on today’s match, I will put my money on Nadal and here’s why.

We spent the entire afternoon watching movies today at a friend’s place. It’s no ordinary TV room but a specially built home theater with extraordinary pieces of HiFi audio visual equipment housed in a cozy sound-proofed room with matching home theater furniture to boot. It’s also my first time watching a movie in Blue-ray DVD format. I was stunned at how clear the picture is on a 40′ high definition LCD screen. And the sound coming from the set of speakers were booming. These are definitely toys for the rich as the entire setup cost roughly RM25k and that’s considered mediocre according to my friend. But gosh it’s movie experience at an entirely different level if one can afford it.

It’s been a dreadful past one week. A little bit better than the first few days I started to wean baby Clarisse from breastfeeding, but still I’m having a tough time making her sleep.
It’s 9pm now. Baby Clarisse hit the sack at 8pm sharp. She started to cry incessantly after 5 minutes, roll all over the bed and just refused to sleep. It took more than 45 minutes of crying and struggling until she’s too exhausted to do anything but to close her eyes and sleep. If I were to give nurse her, it would probably take no more than 15 minutes for her to doze off completely.

Have you guys experience the Nintendo Wii? My husband and I were out window shopping today. We walked past the video games shop. Normally, we would’ve walked right pass it without batting an eyelid but today the shop has setup a promotional booth for the Nintendo Wii. The star product of the moment is the new Wii Fit, a balance board thingy apparatus for Nintendo Wii. This is our first time seeing the Wii in action and I like it very much.
