The local EON Bank branch secretary gave me a call two days ago to inform that my application has been approved by the branch manager and it is now awaiting the final approval from human resource, in HQ I suppose. I was assured that my pending approval at human resource should not be a problem but I’m keeping my fingers crossed nevertheless.

Looking back, it’s been three years since I left my previous job having discovered I was 2 1/2 months pregnant with my first baby. It was an easy choice to resign from the stress and grind of work. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage five months into my pregnancy. For the next few months I decided to complete my on-going Business Management Degree on a full-time basis aiming to graduate within a year. I graduated on August 2006 and preparing to get a job. It didn’t materialise because weeks later, I found out I was pregnant again and I postponed my plans to work indefinitely.

My baby Clarisse is now 1 year old. I guess it’s about time …
