Up and down, round and round the house she goes

As she gets stronger, I am expecting baby Clarisse to be a handful. I shudder to imagine how grandma and grandpa, their backs especially, can cope with taking care of her while I’m away because she likes to spend time on the floor walking (cruising with support), crawling and making her way slowly up the stairs. Up and down and up again. I have no idea how many times she could repeat going up and down the stairs because I ran out of gas before she does.

Recently, she discovered cupboard doors. As soon as she gets down onto the floor, she’d be heading towards the nearest cabinet to pull at the doors and check out what’s inside. Grandpa is very protective of his stuff so I have make sure baby Clarisse won’t get her hands on stuff inside the cabinets.

Back at my in-laws house, I can only imagine baby Clarisse would wreak havoc to my in-law’s feng shui ornaments, statues and trinkets when she’s tall enough to reach them. She’d be having a field day going through all those stuff.

My husband had his first taste of baby Clarisse’s lightning quick prying hands when she grabbed hold of the HDMI cable, dragged and slammed the PS3 console onto the floor. Luckily, apart from some slight cosmetic damages, his PS3 is not broken and works fine apparently.

We’re bracing ourselves against more mischiefs as baby Clarisse gets increasingly mobile in time to come.
