After a day of running nose, baby Clarisse came down with fever this morning. We would’ve taken her to the doctor if it wasn’t a Sunday.

Last night, baby Clarisse had trouble sleeping well. There were lots of mucus in her nose and it was bothering her breathing. She turned and tossed a lot. Got up a couple of times, sneezed them mucus out which is good thing and cried to be nursed back to sleep. I can’t blame her for being fussy and cranky the entire night and morning eventhough my husband and I woke up many times because of her wakefulness.

Baby Clarisse’s temperature was around 38+ celcius in the morning so we gave her 2ml of acetaminophen to relieve her fever. Half an hour later, her fever came down a bit and she was back to her mischieveous self.

As the medicine wears off after six hours, it’s back to 38-ish celcius again. I gave her another dose of acetaminophen. As I’m typing this, baby Clarisse is taking an afternoon nap. I hope her fever doesn’t go up higher today as the doctor’s appointment is tomorrow morning.

I’m logging off. Baby Clarisse will be waking up anytime now I’m sure.
