My husband is a coffee drinker so I’m thinking of buying him a coffee machine for his birthday this year. For years, he’s been dreaming of owning an espresso machine and the only thing keeping him from getting one is the price tag, espresso machines are really expensive. But I’ve gotta admit, they are very well made and finished. It’s like a piece of art deco in the kitchen.

Lately, he’s been telling me about this $25 coffee maker called Aeropress. Judging from feedback and testimonials from coffee forums and websites, the Aeropress got rave reviews. In fact, you’d be hardpressed to find a bad review. Many from the coffee community said the Aeropress made the best cup of coffee they had ever tasted.

For me, the best thing is the price tag of course and this might just be his birthday present this year. Has anyone here bought and used an Aeropress before? Please share your experience.
