Skin problems? Try fruits and vegetable juice detox

My nephew suffers from eczema since he was more than a year old. His condition got worse when he was around 2 years old and my sister put him on a very restricted diet avoiding food that triggers an allergy reaction. The diet cuts him out from food made from wheat flour and eggs, I recall. Those two ingredients alone are found in so many staple food it’s a very tough diet to follow.

As months go by, he hardly gained any weight and my sister decided to put a stop to his diet. She let him eat everything as he needed all the nutrition he can possibly get.

At the same time, she experimented with detoxifying fruit and vegetable juices. My nephew drank a glass of freshly squeezed detoxification fruits and vegetable juice a few times a week. His eczema symptoms started to subside and the condition of his skin slowly recovers.

That was 2 years ago. Her son still gets itchy skin occasionally but it was far less than what he suffered before going on the detox juice treatment. So if you’re using creams or medicine for eczema and psoriasis treatment, give it a try. My family swears by a detox regimen everywhere now and then.

I contacted my sister yesterday to find out what went into the detox juice she gave to her son as I really can’t recall. It’s been nearly 3 years since she told me about it, how time flies.

My sister posted the information in her blog too.

Read this blog entry “My Son’s Skin Has Improved Significantly“. Here’s an excerpt for that blog entry:

” … I tried juicing carrots, red apples, beetroot and wheatgrass (a cube). I gave a cup of this fresh juice before his lunch everyday for 5 days. On the second day, he started having a few bowel movements with foul smelling stools. In fact, I have not seen his stools this bad smelling and watery. After 2 days, his stool is back to normal. It is on the third day, I notice his skin is less red, and less itchy. The rashes started to disappear. In fact, his skin improves so much that others have been asking me what I gave to my son … “
