We ordered take-away from a wantan mee stall for dinner earlier in the day. While Papa was waiting for the food, a doggy came near the car. I wind down the window and baby Clarisse stood up to watch. The doggy remained close to the patch of grass in front of baby Clarisse. We hang around for a couple of minutes even after the food is ready because baby Clarisse got so excited watching the doggy wagging it’s tail, roll around and jumping about just a couple of feet away. Then Papa drove off. Immediately Clarisse started to cry. Cried her heart out in fact. It took me a while to console and calm her down. She cooled off when we reach home a few minutes later.

I am sensing this is sign of things to come. She’s starting to resist letting go or being taken away from something exciting like toys, playrooms, pets or just anything she’s playing with at that very moment. Sure baby Clarisse started to show such displeasure some time ago but today’s crying episode involving the doggy is the worst so far.
