I’m back on the track and courts
For the past few months, I’m slowly getting back to my pre-pregnancy exercise and sporting regimen which includes tennis, brisk walking and jogging on a daily basis. It helps that my husband loves tennis and jogging. We’ve been playing tennis for the past 10 years before my year-long hiatus after conceiving baby Clarisse.
My fitness level has plummetted to the extent of hitting rock bottom. I could barely push 5km jogging or last more than an hour on the tennis court. And please, don’t ask me about my weight and body shape as I don’t need to feel more miserable than I already am.
Sure, the best dieting plans, best diet pills, best slimming program or best plastic surgeon can provide a shortcut to a shapely body and slimmer physique. But I neither have the money or interest in these solutions. So I’m prepared to face the physical torture I’ll subject myself to on the track and courts.
Wish me luck and here’s hoping I’ll be 10kg lighter by the end of the year.
