Vote wisely, my fellow Malaysians
In less than 12 hours I will be casting my vote in Malaysia’s General Election. There’s no hiding where my sentiment lies for those who know me. My ‘X’ will be marked in any opposition’s box, be it PAS, PKR or DAP.
I hate monopoly. It brings out the worst in anything. I vote in hope to achieve a balance in power.
The last minute indelible ink pull out was a real letdown. Adding to suspicions that the GE won’t be polled fair and square. I won’t be surprised the polling results will be rigged to turn the tides into BN’s favor.
Those who walked the BERSIH demonstration last year is heading the right direction: the need for clean GE’s. If that can’t be achieved, there’s no democracy at all.
My guess is Malaysia will be forever be ruled racially. At our development rate, we’ll never reach a nation of first-world mentality citizens. The Malays won’t know what hit them. The Malays themselves will bring about their own downfall. It won’t be long before we turn into Indonesia. BN plays the racial card and unfortunately, Chinese and Indians are far being outnumbered by Malays. And the sad truth is, most of the Malays believe and fear the BN lies.
I really hope BN will lose 2/3 majority in cabinet tomorrow no matter how remote the chances may be.
Vote wisely, my fellow Malaysians.
