Shifting our home office
What a tough day it has been. My husband and I spent the whole afternoon moving out from our home office area.
I don’t know how far you indulge in Feng Shui for your home but when it comes to my mother-in-law, you’ll see how pushing the limits look like. Thanks to her, my husband and I have to shift out of our home office backroom.
According to her, a good part of the south sector of our house will be badly afflicted in year 2008. In fact, starting today, she believes occupants who spend most of their time in the south sector, will be afflicted so badly that she is taking no chances and literally ordered us to shift to another room.
We can’t really argue about it. I’m not an expert in Chinese metaphysics called Feng Shui. I don’t have the know-how or facts to prove her wrong. And her reason for doing this is for our own good.
Reluctantly, we did accordingly and spent a couple of hours moving our office furniture furniture one by one out to another room. Cleaning and reorganizing all our stuff. In fact, here I am blogging and there are still boxes of books, CDs, DVDs and stuff yet to be wiped and cleaned. It would probably take me two more days to sort our things out.
